Gift Returns
Tip #1: Make a detailed list of everything that needs to be returned and what store it is from. Some things are not going to be returnable but that's OK, they can be white elephant gifts for next year.
Tip #2: Find as many gift receipts as you can. If you are embarrassed you can always tell the gift giver that "its the wrong size" and explain that you are simply going to exchange it. (Yes, it is a little white lie, but it is worth getting rid of the "hoodie vest" you got.)
Tip #3: Don't just settle on the first thing that is "OK" in the store. Wait if you need to and get a gift card. After Christmas the stores are all cleared out of things and if you can't find something you love wait a week or two for the store to restock.
Tip #4: Find the return lines right a way. Most major retailers expect returns and have a special line just for returns. Find the line and be patient with the associates. Returns can be tricky for some retailers so be patient.
Tip #5: Be considerate when giving gifts yourself, always give the receiver a gift receipt to make their life easy and don't be offended if it is not their "cup of tea".

Merry Christmas Last Minute Shoppers
Macy's is having a huge sale on purses and handbags 25-60% off.
See's Candy is a perfect stocking stuffer.
For Men:
My uncle Rich called me the other night and informed me that Lowes was having a sale on tools.
Mens Express is having a great sale on all mens cloths. This is Mr. Hosman's favorite store for pants and shirts.
As women this one is lost on us, but every guy wants a gun....(shoulder shrug)....but if you are in Mesa, AZ check out Caswells Shooting Range for some ideas.
Socks, underwear, and other hygiene items are what Santa brings Mr. Hosman each year along with his favorite candy.
I hope that you find this helpful. Have a Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Perfect Party Dress
Hello Everyone!!! As we are now upon the Holiday Party Season the Perfect Party Dress is a real query. A few tips to help you as you go shopping: First, take your personal shopper, Sarah Hosman, with you :) (If you would like my assistance please feel free to check out my website or email me.) Second, carefully ponder the event it self, is it a work party for you or your spouse? Or is it a friend/family party? Or is it a charity event...each would have a different approach. And Finally, how much are you willing and able to spend?
OK now that we have that out of the way, let me make a few versatile suggestions:
This little number is from Ann Taylor Loft $79
Banana Republic $175
You may also want to try some Color this year. Black is classic but color makes a statement.
Anthropologie $248
This was the Dress I decided on as my pretty party dress! It is at Anthropologie for $228
Here are some more Casual options that would look great with some textured tights and snazzy boots.
This cute dress is at Express for $62.
These are just few options, if you would like a Personal Holiday Styling Session with me then please contact me at perfectpintuck@gmail.com.

Offical Shopping Season is Upon Us!
Sleepy Time: Cute pajamas are always fun to get at Christmas time. Ann Taylor Loft has several cute pajamas under $40. Another idea is to wrap up a premium lotion with the pajamas.
New Look with Mary Kay: Contact a Mary Kay Consultant (if you are in the Phoenix area you can contact me, Sarah Hosman, directly at www.marykay.com/shosman1) and set up a color consultation for your loved one. You buy a gift certificate for the amount of Mary Kay you want to get her and it comes with a free pampering session which includes a facial, color makeover, and satin pampering. This is a wonderful way to treat her to something extra special.
These are just a few tips and thoughts. If you would like me to handle all your difficult shopping I would be happy to. Simply, check out my website http://www.perfectpintuck.com/ and give me a call!

The whole package!
For a body type analysis please refer to my website http://www.perfectpintuck.com/ and contact me. I am Sarah Hosman, personal shopper and stylist in the Phoenix area.
Back to the topic at hand. I am not going to classify anyone as a "plus size" but rather simply give you some suggestions and tips on great stores that I have found for a full figured woman.
Rule #1: Keep proportion in mind make sure you are keeping your accessories and prints in proportion with your height and size. Petite women should avoid a large hand back as it will dwarf them in size and make them appear larger. Those with greater stature and presence should avoid small dainty brackets and belts as they will look proportionally smaller.
Rule #2: Buy cloths that have shape to them and accentuate your positive attributes. No Moomoo's or shapeless tees!

Rule #3: Don't close out any clothing type even if it is difficult. Don't count out pants, skirts or dresses just because they are difficult to fit. Look for pants, skirts and dresses that are figure flattering and don't cover your whole body to make you look like a big pillar with no curves.

For the Mama's!
Do:
- Choose clothing that you can mix and match so you don’t get tired of wearing the same thing.
- Plan on buying cloths for the different stages of pregnancy. You will find that you change shape and size and you will gain more weight.
- Buy a great looking pair of low-heeled, fashionable shoes in a neutral tone. Your center of gravity shifts during pregnancy, so you want to be safe and comfortable while looking your best.
- Splurge on one or two key party outfits. This is your chance to treat yourself to something special that fits your own personality, taste, and style.
- Find supportive and comfortable underpinnings. Make sure you are also fitted for a new bra and nursing bra.
Don’t:
- Don't always buy according to size. Focus on fit. There are many variables, ranging from designers’ cuts to how women carry, that will determine what works best for you. The only way to know is to try on a variety of items.
- Don't buy plus sizes if you’re not. These clothes are cut larger all over. Fitted maternity clothes, like a little black dress, can make you look more sophisticated, attractive, and sexy.
- Don't wear your husband’s clothes all the time. He may look sexy in them, but you may not get the same results.
- Don't wear bold patterns and colors if you are heavyset or long tops if you are petite. They are not as flattering as other choices.
- Don't try to squeeze into your clothes for too long; they just make you look heavier and uncomfortable.
- Don't hide your belly; pregnancy is a time to celebrate your growing abdomen and to show off your new figure.
Mimi Maternity has a wonderful line of “Secret Fit Belly” skirts, pants and shorts that hug the belly during all stages of pregnancy and even after, the band is a light breathable fabric that does not give the tell tale sights of maternity pants. These pants are a GREAT investment in any maternity wardrobe.
